The blade itself is alright and I appreciate your light hint of ornamentation on guard.
What I think you should improve is the grip which looks quite flat. Remember it is in fact cylindric shape so those line alonside it should copy that curled curve.
Also I would advise you the exact opposite of what "explodingheads" told you. You should try to draw as much sketchlike as you can with a clear visible outlines and instead of soft shading try to shade through crosshatch which will help you to understand the volume of objects.
